Initial takeoff is at the launch BSE altitude--at least if the launch BSE altitude is greater than the InitialCruiseLow. The orbit altitudes are intended to be at the FARP’s altitude--i.e. the “orbit” is on the ground. Interestingly, one of the orbits (not the first or last) is at 0, not the FARP's altitude. [Note: This is a flaw in the code; Flights using the wrong altitude may have an impact on S2A adjudication.] If the InitialCruiseLow is higher than the FARP, HCAS takes off at launch BSE altitude, and uses InitialCruiseLow altitude to transit (not InitialCruiseLow + FARP altitude).
