How to Reset the Oil Change Light on a 2014 Honda CR-V

There are two common methods depending on your exact trim (some have the intelligent Multi-Information Display / i-MID).

Method 1: Using the Select/Reset Knob (Most Common)

Turn the ignition to the ON position (do not start the engine).
Press the Select/Reset knob (usually on the instrument cluster near the speedometer) repeatedly until Oil Life appears.
Press and hold the Select/Reset knob for about 10 seconds until the oil life percentage and maintenance codes start blinking.
Release the knob, then press and hold it again for about 5 seconds.
The display should reset to 100%.
Turn the ignition off, then start the engine to confirm the light is gone.

Method 2: Using Steering Wheel Controls / i-MID (Some Trims)

Turn the ignition to the ON position (do not start the engine).
Press the Menu button on the steering wheel.
Navigate to Vehicle Information → Maintenance Info (or Oil Life).
Press the SOURCE button.
Select Yes when asked if you want to reset.
Confirm the oil life shows 100%.
