mail was in C:\Users\donald\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\7s26xv5d.default\Mail\mail.dnsexit.com
had to re-select it in settings

Thunderbird (TB) will read a profile, but is does not create the accounts and sub-folders.
This was in a new install of TB; perhaps if the target TB were configured the same as the source, the import would work.
Used The Bat to read the Inbox.sbd file and it created the folders.
To move, select all messages in a folder.
Export as individual .eml files to an empty directory
Create the folder in TB.
Using the import/export plugin, import .eml.
Use select first, then shift-end to select everything in the directory.Repeat.
Consider going to The Bat for $34. Does it have message size limits?
