Upgrade to 13
To Do
- hci is 3.21, what is sim? fix jacs error message.
- fix errors in whEnv and whJacs log files
- whEnv is picking older map as loaded in log file. this is done in GdkSystem.
- create progranFiles/Jas2 for 13.0.1 to keep 9.2 alive
- fix different versions of a single required map detected. EmconfigurationMap»withAllRequiredMaps.

- repackaged sim and hci after setting both versions to 3.20. no joy.
REM this batch file creates and starts the JAS Environment System sc create whEnv13 binpath= "C:\Progra~2\jas13\whEnv.exe -srvName whEnv -whEnv.icx -ini:vmcfg.ini -lwhEnv.log -srvWorkingDir C:\ProgramData\Jas13\env" displayname= "Jas13 Env" sc description whEnv13 "JAS 13 Environment System"
- the create name must be unique.
- you cannot specify description= or start= on the initial line.
- the above works.
2025 03 28
- got jas dev to load.
- created progFilesx86\jas13
- create programData\jas13 and copied programData\Jas into it.
- changed jacs/jasS/env.ini files
- changed all vmfcg.ini
- copied new xml and nls to jas13
- the runtime zip does not have abt.exe. copied the contents of progFilesx86/VastPlatform/13.0.1
- The Jacs and Environment images are executed by whJacs.exe and whEnv.exe respectively which are both copies of the VAST file abtntsrv.exe renamed.
- The Sim is executed by whSim.exe which is a renamed copy of esvio.exe.
- The Hci is exceuted by whHci.exe which is a renamed copy of abt.exe.
- copied jas dlls from progFilesx86/jas

- loading jas dev.
- load z:st Refactoring Browser instead

- hci packages ok. new hci is 39161. old is 38288
- sim packages ok. new sim is 25261. old is 24852

- jacs, vp and env package ok. jacs starts. env does not. vp ?
- new env is 6705 old is 6246. does not start
- new jacs is 7129. old is 6720. starts.
- new vp is 17006. old is 16252.
2025 02 16
- Found 9.2 32 bit config maps for WB, WK Biz Graphics, and WK Pro.
- Many 2014 changes in these maps.
- Probably should not load Envy 13 into a 7.5 Envy.
- To do:
- download vast 13 32.
- save the Envy library.
- import WB, WK Biz Graphics, and WK Pro maps
- import last good JAS config maps.
- update apps and required maps in Jas Dev JSO
- load, then run
2025 02 15
- Tried loading latest Jas Dev JSO map into 9.2. Failed with
Loading the configuration map WindowBuilder Pro R3.0 SR1.00b... Error: 356 Cannot complete the load because the source is missing for StsRegistration class>>#knownUsers and it must be compiled.
- This is because WB uses a license manager whose source is hidden.
- The bytecodes for the license manager are in the 7.5 Envy which was the basis for the upgrade to 8.6.3
