Upgrade to 14
To Do
- the last/lon change to a blue bse blew up the sim. why?
- the allthatjas wiki is globally writable.
- fix all create/delete/config batch files
- test all packaged images
- test jads DONE
- fix “counting records” in jacs when no JADS is present
2025 04 07
- Instantiations replied leave off the server: “jas” which is in the jacs.ini.
- restored the 14 Oracle ma, re-packaged, and hci and sim run.
2025 04 03
- emailed Instantiations
- got the rest of the JAS maps exported from 9.2 and imported into 14.0.0.
2025 04 02
- hci 14 gets Ora-12154 - TNS could not resolve the connect identifier specified
- current version of AbtOracle8DatabaseManager»connectToDataSourceNamed: aDataSourceName logonSpec: aLogonSpec promptEnabled: aBoolean ifError: anErrorBlock is the problem.
- created AbtDbmOracleBaseApp V 14.0.0 [573].1 with previous version.
- updated DK - All Oracle, DK - All Oracle XD, DK - Jacs Oracle, and DK - Oracle Back End which is unused.
- updated and repackaged HCI, Sim, Jacs, Env, and VP. All work.
2025 04 01
- hci 14 cannot connect to Oracle. hci 13 can.
- vp 14 cannot find map, then blows up looking for geoviewer.dll.
- vp 9.2 from 1/24 runs ok with no explicit path in ini file
- vp 14 runs ok with no explicit path in ini file after re-copying jas*.dlls from jas9
- vp Help → About is ok
2025 03 31
- merged 13.0.1 mgr.dat with mgr14.dat
- redid vmcfg.ini using progFilesx86/…/abt.ini
- copied progFilesx86/…/xml to progData/jas/xml
- copied progFilesx86/…/nls to progData/jas/nls
- copied gdk.cat to progData/jas/nls
- copied progFilesx86/…/bitmaps to progData/jas/bitmaps
- updated all config maps
- all maps load and package
- copy abt.exe to wHCI.exe and wVP.exe
