- router default ip is 192.168.1.1 which cannot be gotten to from a wired 10.0.0.* network.
- From page 45 of the manual: Connectivity → Internet Settings → IPV4 → Type of Internet Connection → Bridge Mode. Obtain IP Address Automatically.
- After this, use new DHCP address to access router.
- Disabled 2G which also disabled Guest.
- Set 5G password to Lucky01!
- All ok.
2025 04 28
- connected router to network switch
- found it as Linksys01099 under “view available wifi connections”
- connected successfully
- clicked properties and got the following

- connected wirelessly to the router using 192.168.1.1
- opened a browser on myrouter.local and got login screen
- password admin worked.
- enabled guest access with password Lucky.
- set security to WPA2/WPA Mixed Personal with password s1u2
