- https://inst.fogbugz.com/default.asp?W387 tells about Kiln, the repository for the Word Docs. John wrote it. there may be places to update the procedure.

- https://inst.fogbugz.com/default.asp?W362 this tells all the things you need to know for constructing a word doc. It tells how to add a new document, which is what is needed for a new FAQ.
- use kiln command window
- run setPath.bat
path=%path%;C:\Program Files (x86)\Instantiations\tortisehg cd vastdocs hg incoming hg pull pause hg update pause hg status
- run hg incoming, pull, merge, update if necessary (follow prompts)
- remember to update relevant .xml files (tocsg.xml) too even if to just add comments
- add new files from explorer right click menu
- put Case 12345 on commit *
- to clone a repository, do C:\aVast\Kiln>hg clone https://inst.kilnhg.com/Code/vastdocs/Group/vastdocs vastdocs where vastdocs does not exist
- hg clone https://inst.kilnhg.com/Code/Dino-VM/vast-vm/devel vast-vm
- user is dmacq@inst. pwd w'01
- to pull from Windows on Linux, do 'hg pull http://Pyro:8000' after entering the vast-vm directory.
- You can always view the state of things in Kiln at https://inst.kilnhg.com/
- hg add add all new files
- hg commit -m “comments”
