- Apache was running but got no access.
- Got a certificate database is corrupt and has been reset to default state message.
- All certificates looked ok.
- Finally, in Control Panel, set TLS/SSL Profile Level to Old backward compatibility
- Website now ok.
- install dns server on synology
- follow these directions: http://forum.synology.com/enu/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=65154
- create a virtual server on synology on folder test that looks at test.local.lan.
- test.local.lan is set up in dns server
- creating a virtual dokuwiki did Not work, so did ln -s dokuwiki test
- modified netgear dns settings to look at synology 192.168.0.17 first then at openDns 208.67.222.222

- website root is /var/services/web/macqueen.us
- dokuwiki data is in something like this: /var/services/web/macqueen.us/test/data/pages/synology.txt
- synshare (via winscp) is in /volume1/synshare/
- /volume1/synshare/dataForWeb has rainbow pics, etc.
- to move stuff, cd to directory under /var/services/web/macqueen.us, then do sudo mv /volume1/synshare/dataForWeb/filename ,

Pasword Protecting Pages
- Create an .htaccess file like this
- Put it in the directory where your index.html pages lives.
- Create it in Synology/Linux or else convert Window cr/lfs.

In your server root directory (/volume1/synshare/web/) create an .htpasswd file like this:
